Job description
The Supervisor β Safety (HSE & Construction Compliance) at Agility Logistics Parks is responsible for supporting the Senior Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across the Real Estate Operations division. The role ensures compliance with OHSAS standards, local government regulations, and environmental laws while overseeing contractor activities and construction site safety. The supervisor plays a key role in reviewing blueprints and project plans to identify potential safety risks, conducting site inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures. Responsibilities include monitoring EHS standards implementation, supervising safety and security staff, coordinating with municipality inspectors and regulatory agencies, and ensuring all workplace health and safety requirements are met. The position involves investigating accidents and injury claims, maintaining proper documentation, and staying updated on international and local safety regulations. Additionally, the supervisor contributes to developing emergency response plans, organizing safety training programs, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. The role requires a strong understanding of quality management concepts, risk assessment practices, and compliance frameworks to ensure safe and efficient construction and operational environments.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OHSAS standards
- Oversee contractors to ensure compliance with contractual safety requirements and regulations
- Monitor implementation of EHS standards and ensure staff adherence to safety guidelines
- Review blueprints and construction plans to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
- Supervise safety and security staff and ensure proper execution of safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Coordinate with municipality inspectors and external agencies on workplace safety and regulatory matters
- Investigate accident and injury claims, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions
- Stay updated on local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Organize and support safety training programs and awareness initiatives for personnel
- Assist in developing emergency response procedures and safety preparedness plans
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs Degree in Safety Management or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in HSE, construction safety, or regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of OHSAS standards, environmental laws, and workplace health and safety regulations
- Experience in contractor management and construction site safety oversight
- Ability to review technical drawings and blueprints for safety compliance
- Familiarity with accident investigation, incident reporting, and documentation processes
- Knowledge of quality management concepts and risk assessment practices
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong people management and supervisory capabilities
- Ability to liaise with government authorities, inspectors, and regulatory agencies
