Green space projects across Kuwait depend on irrigation that is designed properly, built to specification and kept running, and this Alghanim Industries position takes charge of all three. A team of irrigation technicians and workers reports to you on site. Most projects start with the contract drawings and specifications, which you turn into workable Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and shop drawings. Mechanical and technical calculations then set daily water usage at the right level for each project. Equipment submittals matter, so manufacturer data sheets are prepared and submitted for approval against project specifications. Paperwork is steady, covering Method Statements, Work Instructions and Work Progress Reports. Supervisory consultants are involved throughout, from site inspections to approvals, and site construction plans go to senior management for sign-off. Budgets are managed across the project lifecycle with a close eye on annual costs. At least 5 to 7 years in a senior irrigation engineering role and a degree in Civil or Agricultural Engineering are required.
