Huda Beauty is hiring a Social Planning Executive to manage strategy and optimization across social platforms, with a strong focus on Snapchat and YouTube. The role emphasizes content planning, performance insights, trend intelligence, and video optimization rather than execution. Responsibilities include building content calendars, optimizing video-first formats, collaborating with analytics to generate insights, and providing creative input for campaigns. The role also supports broader social media strategy across Instagram and TikTok, ensuring alignment with marketing and PR teams. The position is ideal for someone passionate about beauty, social storytelling, and maximizing impact on video-first channels.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars for Snapchat and YouTube.
- Optimize video formats including titles, thumbnails, tags, descriptions, and hooks tailored to algorithms.
- Partner with Analytics to generate monthly performance reports for Snapchat and YouTube.
- Present insights on new YouTube and Snapchat features with recommendations for integration.
- Provide creative input during campaign planning by recommending content formats or trends.
- Liaise with Marketing, Creative, and PR to align YouTube and Snapchat content with wider campaigns.
- Drive A/B testing of thumbnails, hooks, and video lengths to refine strategies.
- Track and share community insights from comments and engagement to inform strategy.
- Contribute to social media strategy for Instagram and TikTok when relevant.
Experience & skills
- 3+ years of experience in content planning, channel management, or digital media (focus on video).
- Strong understanding of YouTube and Snapchat ecosystems, including algorithms, best practices, and analytics tools.
- Experience with video optimization techniques (metadata, thumbnails, content formatting).
- Comfortable using data and analytics to extract insights and influence planning.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage content calendars.
- Knowledge of evolving platform features and ability to test new approaches.
- Collaborative mindset with ability to influence creative and marketing teams.
