Job description
The Relationship Associate - Assistant Vice President is responsible for managing day-to-day administration and coordination for a portfolio of UAE corporate clients, supporting bankers in identifying and delivering banking solutions. The role involves client interaction, credit coordination, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with Citiās banking and AML policies. This hybrid position supports Citiās Institutional Banking team by building trusted client relationships, handling credit processes, and providing analytical insights that contribute to revenue generation and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Support Bankers on marketing efforts to grow and protect revenue on a specified portfolio of clients
- Exercise sound judgement and initiative while ensuring Bankers can focus on revenue generation
- Build trusted relationships with clients and operational teams, handling routine credit requests and issue resolution
- Liaise with the global network to coordinate routine credit requests and assist with revenue generation
- Coordinate credit requests and approvals, negotiate and manage credit and loan documentation
- Monitor usage of credit lines and exercise prudent judgement in managing risks
- Ensure portfolio compliance with due diligence and anti-money laundering (Know Your Client) requirements
Experience & skills
- 8 - 10 years of relevant experience
