Job description
Time-related construction claims on major GCC infrastructure projects come down to evidence, and this Riyadh position supplies it through forensic analysis of project information and data. Turner & Townsend's Infrastructure department advises clients on both preparing and defending extension of time claims. Your work centres on critical path delay analysis, identifying delay events with the project team and drafting the narratives that support each claim submission. Methods vary by case, including Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis (TIA), Windows Analysis, As-Planned vs As-Built and Collapsed As-Built, and choosing the right one for the circumstances matters. Reports need to set out cause and effect clearly and show entitlement to EOT. Programme critiques, schedule integrity checks and forensic programme reviews are a regular part of the week, carried out in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or Asta PowerProject. On disputes, you will support Delay Experts with fact-finding, detailed analysis, quantification and report writing, then present the findings to clients. Expect to need 8 to 10 years working solely in forensic planning and delay analysis, ideally within a claims consultancy, along with familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
