Job description
As the Business Planning and Analytics Manager in the Inflight Services team at Emirates, you will support management in shaping the strategic development of Service Delivery. The role is responsible for defining, developing, and executing systems aligned with business needs, with a strong emphasis on data analytics, management, and business intelligence. You will play a key role in embedding a data-driven culture, synthesizing insights into actionable strategies, and ensuring operational efficiency across critical Service Delivery functions, including Catering, Retail, Product, and Cabin Crew Management.

Key responsibilities
- Support the continued implementation of a data-driven culture within Service Delivery, championing factual decision making
- Lead business analysis within the team and provide action plans that support decision making within Service Delivery
- Manage business analysis on system development, testing, and acceptance, including requirement gathering, system testing, and process mapping
- Advise stakeholders on analytics requirements and guide them to find suitable data reporting features
- Lead consistent KPI and KQI development to ensure consistent decision making across Service Delivery
- Support consolidation of data from various source systems into a central data warehouse through collaboration with Enterprise Analytics
- Evaluate data collection at the sourcing stage and work with partners to improve timeliness and quality
- Manage internal software development requirements with IT to deliver efficient solutions
- Devise and implement adequate procedures for data handling and analysis while supporting day-to-day end user needs
- Conduct analysis on Service Delivery KPIs to enable continuous improvement decisions
Experience & skills
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology or Business Administration
- 8+ years of experience in In-flight Services, In-flight Administration, and/or Airline Operations
- Experience in airline operations with a strong focus on data analytics
- Experience in synthesising data insights into actionable business strategies
- Proficiency with analytics tools and technology platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in managing and developing team members
