Job description
The Project Manager - People & Organisation (Strategy Consulting) role is positioned within Roland Berger’s dedicated People & Organization platform, established to accelerate growth in the Middle East and globally, following significant organic expansion in recent years. The position is based in Dubai, Manama, or Riyadh and involves engaging with complex client issues around organizational strategy, transformation, and people-related topics, delivering solutions from a business perspective. The role requires expertise in organizational performance, including organization design, corporate centers, steering models, shared services, and target operating model (TOM) transformation, as well as functional excellence across HR TOM, Finance TOM, and IT TOM. It also covers people strategy aspects such as recruitment strategy and HR roadmaps. The position demands strong consulting expertise, a proven track record in client relationship management, and the ability to structure and translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations. The candidate will be expected to promote thought leadership, drive innovative knowledge building, and actively contribute to managing Roland Berger’s Middle East office, including HR committees, mentorship of junior consultants, and wellbeing initiatives. Collaboration is expected across industrial sectors (Industrials, Transportation, Energy, Public Services) and functional platforms (Transaction & Investment Services, Digital). Experience with leading strategy consulting firms such as BCG, McKinsey, ADL, Kearney, Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG is valued, and Arabic language capabilities are considered an asset. The role spans industries including Industrials, Logistics, Utilities, and Public Services, emphasizing Middle Eastern market expertise and global consulting exposure.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Work on complex issues in organizational strategy, transformation, and people topics at client companies
- Develop and implement solutions for People & Organization challenges from a business perspective
- Leverage consulting expertise in specialist issues and client relationship management
- Structure and translate complex analyses into actionable insights
- Promote thought leadership in People & Organization topics to expand innovative strength
- Co-animate and build the People & Organization consultant community
- Participate in managing Roland Berger’s Middle East office, including HR committees, mentorship of junior colleagues, and wellbeing initiatives
Experience & skills
- Possess 6-12 years of experience including strategy consulting with proven end-to-end project delivery in People & Organization
- Demonstrate strong insights into organizational performance including organization design, corporate centers, steering models, shared services, and TOM transformation
- Exhibit functional excellence across HR TOM, Finance TOM, and IT TOM
- Show expertise in people strategy such as recruitment strategy and HR roadmaps
- Have a successful track record in top consulting firms such as BCG, McKinsey, ADL, Kearney, Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG
- Bring experience in the Middle East market or with major accounts in Industrials, Logistics, Utilities, and Public Services
- Possess Arabic language capabilities (considered a plus)
