Job description
The Senior Vice President, Regional Commercialization, Core Payments, EEMEA is responsible for developing, managing, and executing regional go-to-market strategies for a broad Core Payments product portfolio across Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Reporting to the EVP, Regional Core Payments Lead, the role delivers revenue targets and Core Payments KPIs through in-market sales teams in close partnership with Account Managers and Region Market Development teams. The position co-leads and provides subject matter expertise to product sales specialists within Customer Solution Centers and Business Development resources across the region. Core accountability areas include revenue delivery, market penetration and optimization, sales and product enablement, and strengthening tailored product value narratives for existing and prospective customers. The role drives sales planning, tracks Core KPIs at regional and country levels, manages Core VAS sales pipelines, identifies optimization opportunities, supports strategic customer negotiations, gathers competitor intelligence, and channels customer feedback into product enhancement discussions. The position also collaborates with regional product teams to identify strategic partners and ensures sales teams are equipped with tools, training, and content to accelerate adoption while maintaining Mastercard information security standards, confidentiality, and compliance with corporate security policies.

Key responsibilities
- Create and define go-to-market strategies to scale existing and newly developed Core Payments products across multiple customer segments
- Participate in regional and market-level sales planning processes with in-market sales teams
- Track and deliver Core Payments KPIs jointly with account managers and Regional Market Development teams
- Monitor and manage Core VAS sales pipelines and size top business development opportunities
- Translate regional Core KPIs to country-level targets supporting CSC leads, Core sales specialists, and SIP scorecards
- Lead regional optimization opportunity analysis and track progress across divisions and markets
- Participate as a subject matter expert in strategic customer meetings and deal negotiations
- Gather, analyze, and share competitor intelligence to refine sales messaging and product value narratives
- Collect and provide structured customer feedback on product enhancements from CSCs and market sales teams
- Collaborate with regional product teams to identify and engage partners aligned to global product priorities
- Enable account managers, CSC specialists, country managers, and Region Market Development teams with tools, training, and content to drive product adoption
- Ensure adherence to Mastercard security policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandatory information security training obligations
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding and prior experience in Core Payments verticals
- Show prior experience in business development, sales, or commercialization of mature and emerging products
- Prove ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and innovative products
- Exhibit a results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and commercial mindset adaptable to changing market and customer demands
- Demonstrate excellent communication and influencing capabilities to articulate product value propositions
