Job description
The Head of Retail - Luxury Fashion at Chalhoub Group is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and elevating one of the Group’s luxury brands within a hybrid luxury retail environment spanning over 950 stores, online platforms, and mobile applications. Operating within the luxury fashion, beauty, jewellery, watches, eyewear, and art de vivre categories, the role focuses on driving commercial performance, enhancing client experience, and shaping the next phase of growth across a dynamic retail concept. The position requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution while operating in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment. The Head of Retail will drive a client-centric culture, elevate in-store experience and service standards, lead overall retail performance, ensure delivery of sales targets, profitability, and key commercial KPIs, and oversee large multi-functional teams. The role also contributes to the transformation of retail concepts, including experiential elements and service innovation, while collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, and digital teams. The position ensures excellence in store operations, visual presentation, and execution standards while identifying opportunities for growth through new initiatives, partnerships, and activations. The Head of Retail will also act as brand ambassador, representing the business with key clients and external partners, and supporting Chalhoub Group’s innovation-driven retail ecosystem including omnichannel experiences, innovation initiatives, and sustainability-driven operations aligned with Net Zero 2040 commitments and global retail excellence standards.

Key responsibilities
- Drive a client-centric culture by elevating in-store experience, improving service standards, and ensuring premium luxury retail customer experience across all retail locations
- Lead overall retail performance by managing sales targets, profitability goals, and commercial KPIs across luxury fashion retail operations
- Oversee and develop large multi-functional teams across retail operations, ensuring performance management, engagement, retention, and workforce development
- Lead the evolution and transformation of the retail concept including experiential retail services, innovation initiatives, and customer engagement strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, and digital teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy and operational execution
- Ensure excellence in store operations, visual presentation, and execution standards across all retail locations and customer touchpoints
- Identify growth opportunities including new initiatives, partnerships, retail activations, and expansion strategies to drive brand growth
- Act as brand ambassador by representing the luxury brand with key clients, partners, and external stakeholders while strengthening relationships
- Support omnichannel retail strategy across physical stores, online platforms, and mobile applications
- Drive retail innovation initiatives aligned with Chalhoub Group’s hybrid luxury retail strategy and transformation roadmap
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong experience in luxury retail management within complex or multi-brand environments
- Show proven track record of leading large teams and driving sales performance, profitability management, and KPI achievement
- Possess solid commercial acumen including budget management and financial performance oversight
- Exhibit strong customer experience management capabilities with a focus on client-centric retail environments
- Demonstrate ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in retail operations
- Show experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with adaptability and agility
- Possess strong stakeholder management skills across merchandising, marketing, operations, and digital teams
- Demonstrate experience in retail transformation, omnichannel retail, and experiential retail concepts
