The General Manager – Human Resources for IKEA at Al-Futtaim Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is responsible for leading the People & Culture function across the retail business while acting as a strategic advisor to regional leadership. Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or related field, with Master’s degree or CIPD certification preferred
- 8-10 years of HR generalist experience including 3-5 years in leadership roles such as HR Business Partner or Head of HR
- Strong business and commercial acumen with experience in retail or consumer-focused industries
- Proven experience in organizational transformation, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
- Strong expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and performance management frameworks
- Experience in HR analytics, manpower budgeting, and workforce strategy development
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex organizational environments
