The Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst - Middle East role at Salesforce in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is part of a high-performance Sales Strategy and Operations team responsible for supporting senior executives in driving business growth across the Middle East region, including Dubai UAE and Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Salesforce is a global leader in CRM software and cloud computing, delivering social, mobile, and cloud technologies that enable organizations to become customer-centric enterprises. The team operates under a data-driven framework to interpret KPIs, provide executive recommendations, and support strategic decision-making for senior sales leadership, including the Middle East SVP and regional Head of Strategy. The role involves ownership of the business operational model and cadence, as well as supporting both short-term and long-term growth planning, including G4G initiatives and cross-functional strategic programs. The analyst plays a critical role in sales operations, business planning, pipeline analysis, sales coverage optimization, and ongoing performance measurement. Responsibilities include building robust analytical models, performing custom performance analysis, and translating insights from large and complex datasets into executive-ready presentations and actionable business recommendations. The role requires strong analytical rigor, the ability to identify trends and underlying business drivers (“the why”), and the capability to communicate findings clearly to senior stakeholders. The position also contributes to improving sales governance, optimizing operational efficiency, and enabling data-informed decision-making across sales functions. Key responsibilities
- Partner with senior sales leadership to drive and track business performance using data-driven approaches and KPI analysis
- Interpret sales KPIs and provide executive-level recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth
- Own and maintain the business operational model and operating cadence for sales strategy and operations functions
- Support business planning processes including forecasting, growth planning, and cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Conduct pipeline analysis, sales coverage optimization, and sales performance measurement across the Middle East region
- Develop analytical models and perform deep-dive performance analysis to identify trends and business insights from complex datasets
- Prepare executive-ready presentations translating analytical findings into clear and actionable business insights for senior leadership
- Support Middle East SVP and regional Head of Strategy in weekly sales operations activities and strategic projects
- Contribute to sales governance frameworks and operational excellence initiatives across sales teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment of sales strategy, execution, and reporting
- Continuously monitor business performance metrics and provide ongoing insights to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency
Experience & skills
- 2–4 years of experience in analytical roles such as consulting, finance, or SaaS environments
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering, Economics, or Computer Science (Master’s preferred)
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and modelling
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Alteryx preferred
- Strong analytical rigor with ability to interpret large and complex datasets and identify key business trends
- Ability to translate technical and analytical findings into clear, actionable executive-level communication
- Strong self-starter mindset with high autonomy, curiosity, and ability to perform in ambiguous environments
- Fluent English language skills (Arabic is a desirable plus)
