Job description
The Senior Analytics Sales Specialist for AWS Global Sales is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration of AWS analytics services within enterprise accounts. The role requires expertise in cloud computing, enterprise software, networking, infrastructure technologies, managed hosting services, and cloud computing services. The specialist partners closely with AWS account teams, solution architects, customer success, marketing, demand generation, and partners to pursue Analytics-related sales opportunities. The position involves advising clients on modern data strategies, unifying data assets, and leveraging AWS analytics solutions to meet strategic business objectives. The specialist engages with CXO-level stakeholders, data engineers, and IT architects, developing executive and technical relationships to drive customer outcomes. The role includes creating scalable sales plays, synthesizing key analytics messages, supporting territory coverage planning, securing lighthouse customers, growing enterprise business, and influencing the roadmap of the AWS analytics portfolio through customer feedback. It requires strong technical-sales acumen, the ability to operate across complex enterprise environments, and experience with full sales cycle management, cloud adoption strategies, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration for AWS analytics services in enterprise accounts
- Develop and execute a territory coverage plan to achieve quarterly revenue targets
- Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers by understanding strategic priorities and advising on modern data strategy
- Build and maintain executive and technical relationships with CXO leaders, IT architects, and data engineers
- Work closely with AWS sales teams, solution architects, customer success, partners, marketing, and demand generation to execute sales motions
- Create scalable sales programs, sales plays, and messaging frameworks for analytics solutions
- Pursue customer feedback to guide and influence the AWS analytics product roadmap
- Win new customers, grow existing accounts, secure lighthouse customers, and drive adoption of new services
- Develop strategic partnerships to support analytics-related business development
- Consult with customers to align AWS analytics capabilities to business goals and transformation agendas
Experience & skills
- Possess 5+ years of full sales cycle experience in technology sales, business development, sales engineering, or consulting
- Bring 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services
- Demonstrate proven technology sales experience in complex enterprise environments
- Show ability to engage effectively with CXO-level stakeholders and technical teams
- Be capable of managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Exhibit creativity and problem-solving skills within high-pressure enterprise sales cycles
- Possess experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms (preferred)
- Hold experience in engineering, computer science, MIS, or related technical domains (preferred)
- Show proven ability to drive new business within greenfield accounts at the C-suite level (preferred)
