Job description
Lands Departments, municipalities, EIRC Moveable Assets, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Dubai Financial Market are among the outside bodies this Senior Officer deals with in FAB's Business Banking documentation team at Khubeirah Branch, Abu Dhabi. The role is Emiratised, open to UAE Nationals, and centres on getting credit documentation right. Facility Offer Letters, Term Loan Agreements and security documents are prepared in line with approved facilities, then checked for proper execution and signatory authority through resolutions and powers of attorney. Collateral records need lodging in the bank's systems and keeping current, and expiring or deferred documents are chased for renewal. Securities, mortgages and charges are created, amended, registered and released with government and free zone authorities. Before any collateral release, approvals are reviewed and all liabilities confirmed as cleared. Legacy facilities sometimes carry documentation gaps that need fixing, and the Credit Control Unit relies on your advice before credit lines are released. Expect to bring 3 to 5 years of Corporate Banking experience, at least 3 of them in a Corporate CAD function, with sound knowledge of UAE legal and Central Bank requirements.
