Job description
The Senior Personal Banker is responsible for selling the full range of personal banking products to new retail customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role includes prospecting in targeted segments, conducting marketing activities, managing company payroll relationships, and ensuring high-quality, timely processing of customer applications. The position demands strict compliance with banking regulations and policies, proactive customer engagement, and accurate sales activity reporting.

Key responsibilities
- Achieve monthly sales targets for personal banking products
- Prospect in targeted customer segments via calls and in-person visits
- Present and sell all personal banking products in an ethical, professional manner
- Manage relationships with assigned portfolio companies, building key contacts
- Conduct micro marketing initiatives including kiosks and direct marketing
- Handle customer objections and secure payroll transfer agreements
- Ensure turnaround time (TAT) targets are met for submitted applications
- Comply with KYC, FATCA, AML/CTF policies and internal bank guidelines
- Record all activities in daily sales reports and update CRM systems
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and recognition events
- Uphold high ethical standards and escalate any breaches promptly
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience
- Confidence, persistence, and strong interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of retail banking products and processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work towards targets under pressure
- Proficiency in maintaining CRM and sales reporting tools
