The Sales Manager – AWS Public Sector Saudi Arabia role at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for leading the Saudi Arabia Public Sector business across government, education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. AWS provides cloud computing infrastructure used by developers, enterprises, startups, and government ministries globally. The role involves shaping and delivering a comprehensive strategy to build mind share and accelerate adoption of AWS cloud computing services within public sector market segments in Saudi Arabia. The Sales Manager acts as the AWS single-threaded leader for Public Sector in KSA, with full accountability for delivering business outcomes and leading cross-functional teams across the region. The position requires managing enterprise-level technology sales engagements, building relationships with C-level executives, ministers, procurement teams, finance, legal, and internal stakeholders. The role involves developing and evangelising technology roadmaps to guide IT transformations toward cloud computing and AWS adoption. The Sales Manager leads large teams across multiple locations, drives hiring and team development, and manages pipeline growth and large-scale enterprise deals. The role requires extensive experience in technology sales, cloud computing adoption, and stakeholder engagement across public sector environments including government, education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations. The position also includes ownership of project execution, timeline management, and delivery of strategic sales initiatives to expand AWS footprint within Saudi Arabia.

- Lead the Saudi Arabia Public Sector business across government, education, healthcare, and non-profit segments to drive AWS cloud adoption
- Develop and execute sales strategy to build mind share and expand AWS usage across public sector organizations
- Act as single-threaded leader for AWS Public Sector in KSA with accountability for business outcomes and revenue growth
- Lead and influence cross-functional sales teams to deliver large-scale enterprise cloud computing deals
- Engage with C-level executives, ministers, IT leadership, procurement, finance, legal, and internal stakeholders for enterprise negotiations
- Develop and evangelise technology roadmaps guiding IT transformation and cloud migration initiatives
- Manage large teams across multiple locations and support hiring, talent development, and team scaling
- Drive enterprise deal execution, pipeline growth, and strategic partnerships across Saudi Arabia
- Own project delivery timelines, sales execution, and strategic initiatives for public sector market expansion
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate minimum 10+ years of experience in technology sales including enterprise cloud computing or infrastructure solutions
- Demonstrate experience leading and influencing cross-functional sales teams across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Demonstrate experience engaging with C-level executives, ministers, IT leadership, procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders for enterprise deals
- Demonstrate experience in public sector sales including government, education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations
- Hold Bachelor's degree or MBA in finance, accounting, or related field with strong understanding of enterprise business strategy
- Demonstrate experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps for IT transformation toward cloud computing
- Demonstrate experience managing large teams across multiple locations and leading hiring and talent development initiatives
- Demonstrate procurement experience and enterprise deal negotiation capabilities across public sector environments
- Demonstrate experience owning projects, managing timelines, executing independently, and delivering strategic business outcomes
