Job description
The Senior Prepaid Customer Value Management role at Zain Kuwait is responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, development, and implementation of above-the-line acquisition and base management initiatives for prepaid voice and broadband consumer segments. The position manages the prepaid product lifecycle, revamps existing prepaid voice and broadband portfolios, and ensures alignment with marketing and non-marketing functions to deliver successful product launches. The role includes designing prepaid ATL portfolio strategies, developing product architecture and concept papers, coordinating across marcom, technical, and sales training pipelines, and collaborating with stakeholders across Marketing, Business Intelligence, Legal, Technical, Sales, and Pricing teams. The position requires deep telecommunications expertise, strong knowledge of prepaid business models, Kuwait telecom market understanding, and customer lifecycle management including acquisition, onboarding, growth, retention, and reactivation. The role includes segmentation, persona development, micro-segmentation, CVM campaign execution across digital, outbound, retail, and partner channels, and translating analytics insights into revenue growth, ARPU uplift, churn reduction, and GA improvement. The position also involves advanced analytics capabilities including data extraction, cleansing, validation, descriptive analytics, hypothesis testing, KPI monitoring, and dashboard reporting using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. The role requires managing go-to-market strategies, pricing coordination, post-launch gap analysis, testing procedures, business rule development, stakeholder management, and continuous optimization through A/B testing and test-and-learn frameworks. The role must comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS), environmental policies, and occupational health and safety requirements, while contributing to innovation, data monetization, AI/ML-driven targeting, and omni-channel customer journey strategies.

Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain the prepaid above-the-line product portfolio and strategic roadmap by conceptualizing new prepaid voice and broadband offerings, aligning with commercial objectives, and ensuring product lifecycle management from ideation through launch and optimization while coordinating with marketing and non-marketing functions.
- Lead development and documentation of product architectural designs, concept papers, and product requirements while supervising product production pipelines including marcom coordination, technical alignment, sales agent training, and stakeholder engagement to ensure readiness for product launch.
- Analyze customer behavior, competition developments, and market dynamics by liaising with marketing, customer insights, and CVM teams to develop customer value propositions, promotional campaigns, and targeted acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Marketing, Budgeting, Planning, Customer Insights, CVM, Marcom, Technical, Business Intelligence, Legal, and Sales departments to ensure successful and timely product launches aligned with roadmap and commercial objectives.
- Monitor product performance against defined targets by tracking KPIs, conducting daily market monitoring, analyzing competitor activity, identifying performance gaps, and recommending corrective actions following post-launch gap analysis.
- Develop business rules, operational processes, and testing procedures for new prepaid products by coordinating with product testing stakeholders, ensuring readiness, and validating product functionality prior to launch.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and coordinate with Sales Channels and Digital Channels to determine appropriate channel strategy while supporting Marcom teams in developing marketing and communication materials.
- Collaborate with Pricing teams to develop up-sell and cross-sell campaigns, manage promotional initiatives, ensure compliance with ISMS policies, environmental requirements, and occupational health and safety standards while reporting any security or compliance incidents.
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong expertise in telecommunications industry with deep understanding of prepaid and subscription business models, customer behavior, competition, and regulatory environment within Kuwait telecom market.
- Possess strong Customer Value Management capabilities including customer lifecycle management for prepaid acquisition, onboarding, growth, retention, reactivation, segmentation, persona development, and micro-segmentation strategies.
- Exhibit experience designing, executing, and optimizing prepaid CVM campaigns across multiple channels including digital, outbound, retail, and partner channels while delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities including data extraction, cleansing, validation, descriptive analytics, trend analysis, hypothesis testing, predictive modeling exposure, and KPI performance monitoring including ARPU, churn, usage, tenure, GA, recharges, and engagement.
- Show advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and scenario analysis with additional knowledge of Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
- Possess strong project management and execution capabilities including managing multiple initiatives, campaign coordination, risk identification, mitigation planning, and working with campaign management systems.
- Demonstrate innovation and problem-solving experience including continuous optimization, test-and-learn frameworks, A/B testing, pilot campaigns, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field with preference for Master’s degree or MBA, and demonstrate experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration within matrix organizations.
