Job description
A brand-new Innovation Hub and AI Lab needs an ML platform built from the ground up, one that lets the Data Science and AI team scale experimentation and move faster from prototype to production, and that is exactly what this MLOps Engineer role delivers. You will design and automate robust ML pipelines for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous training (CI/CD/CT) of models. Model serving architectures get configured to support both ultra-low latency real-time APIs, using tools such as FastAPI and gRPC, and large-scale batch inference. Monitoring and logging systems get implemented to track model metrics, runtime latencies, data drift, and concept decay once models reach production. Model registries and metadata get managed to keep ML artifacts reproducibly versioned, tracked, and auditable, using tools such as MLflow and Kubeflow. Containerized applications get orchestrated and scaled using Docker and production-grade Kubernetes or managed container services such as EKS and AKS. Security and data teams become close collaborators, enforcing strict data governance, pipeline encryption, network isolation, and secure IAM policies across the platform.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Design and automate robust ML pipelines for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous training (CI/CD/CT) of models
- Configure model serving architectures to support ultra-low latency real-time APIs and large-scale batch inference
- Implement model monitoring and logging systems to track model metrics, runtime latencies, data drift, and concept decay in production
- Manage model registries and metadata to ensure reproducible versioning, tracking, and auditable lineage of ML artifacts
- Orchestrate and scale containerized applications using Docker and production-grade Kubernetes or managed container services
- Collaborate with security and data teams to enforce strict data governance, pipeline encryption, network isolation, and secure IAM policies
Experience & skills
- Bring 3-7 years of experience building and operating high-availability ML pipelines, automation scripts, and foundational platform infrastructure layers
- Show strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java alongside systems scripting and deep hands-on familiarity with Linux environments
- Carry deep familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Argo Workflows, Feast, or managed platform equivalents like SageMaker or Azure ML
- Apply an understanding of cloud security architectures including VPC isolation, private endpoints, encryption at rest and in transit, and role-based access control
- Demonstrate an understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, alongside Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Draw on experience implementing model monitoring and observability practices to track performance, drift, and reliability in production
