Job description
Deputising for the Senior QC Affairs Manager at KDD in Farwaniya, this Assistant Regulatory Compliance Manager keeps every finished product compliant across the markets it is sold in. Regulations, claims, standards and labelling parameters are assessed for each market, with compliance KPIs reported regularly. Local authorities in Kuwait and across the GSO region are key relationships, and inspections at KDD premises need preparation and follow-up. Arabic and English translations must exist for every standard. Quality systems extend downstream into warehouses, distribution and customers, including traceability assessments and compliance training. New products, ingredients and packaging are checked with R&D against local and international requirements, and artwork approvals and barcode verification run through Oracle and RDnl. Customer complaints, Quality Mark certifications and renewals, fresh milk farm compliance KPIs and co-packed products with Purchasing also sit here. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Food Science and Technology, and at least 7 years in QA, development or regulatory roles in food manufacturing, with auditor certification and experience dealing with regulators preferred.
