Job description
The Relationship Manager – Priority Banking (Affluent Banking) at Emirates NBD in Abu Dhabi leads new client acquisition and the growth of existing Priority Banking relationships while meeting revenue targets across Assets, Liabilities, Investments, and Insurance. The role serves as the primary point of contact for Priority customers, acting as a trusted advisor on Priority Banking offerings, actively cross-selling products, and marketing new services to increase share of wallet. Responsibilities include strict adherence to UAE Central Bank regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, operational, sales, and anti-mis-selling policies; maintaining KYC and client profiles; assessing risk tolerance; upholding confidentiality; documenting meetings; and promptly reporting suspicious transactions. The RM collaborates with Product Specialists and internal teams to support business development, monitors and seeks to exceed client satisfaction, stays updated on market trends, communicates openly as a team player, and pursues self-development by identifying and communicating training needs to the Unit Manager. - Serve as the primary point of contact for Priority Banking customers and drive client acquisition and account management in collaboration with the Product Specialist
- Demonstrate expertise in Priority Banking offerings, act as a trusted advisor, and actively cross-sell products and market new services to increase share of wallet
- Adhere to operational, sales, and anti-mis-selling policies; maintain compliance, KYC, and client profiles; assess risk tolerance; uphold confidentiality; and document meetings
- Monitor client satisfaction, maintain open communication, cross-sell bank services, and stay current on market trends as a collaborative team member
- Report suspicious transactions promptly and ensure strict compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and AML protocols
- Pursue self-development by identifying and communicating training needs to the Unit Manager for improvement
Experience & skills
- Hold a University Degree in Business or Finance
- Possess 3 years of experience in a sales role within the financial services/banking industry
- Bring experience across a wide range of banking areas, e.g., Retail and Wealth Management
- Demonstrate fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage
- Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills with strong interpersonal capabilities
