The Purchasing Specialist Tamheer at TechnipFMC supports the execution of procurement strategies to ensure the timely delivery of quality and cost-effective products and services. As part of the Saudi Tamheer program, this role provides an entry-level opportunity for Saudi nationals to develop procurement expertise within the global energy industry. The role involves handling inquiries, negotiating with vendors, expediting bids, and preparing purchase order documentation, contributing directly to project procurement goals.

Key responsibilities
- Fulfill inquiry and purchasing activities within time and budget.
- Ensure all information necessary for issuing inquiries is available.
- Verify purchasing conditions applicable to the project and report exceptions to the Project Procurement Manager.
- Expedite bids from vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure cost-effective terms.
- Prepare and review purchase order documents in due time and check for quality compliance.
- Contribute to recovery of amounts with key clients relevant to back-charges already notified to vendors.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a relevant Diploma.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Interest in procurement, supply chain, and vendor management within the energy sector.
- Saudi national eligible for the Tamheer program.
