Job description
Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana share a Reservations department in Dubai, and this Assistant Reservations Manager role keeps that department running smoothly for both properties. Promoting a professional image to clients through effective communication on all reservation matters sits at the heart of the job, backed by administration procedures maintained to hotel and company standards. You'll build a close relationship with group leaders throughout the reservation process, coordinating and finalizing every requirement with them directly. Current rates and promotions need thorough knowledge behind them, since upselling and cross selling happen at every opportunity, not just when a guest asks. The hotel credit policy gets applied consistently across group reservations, with client needs anticipated and credit and billing instructions clearly documented and supported. Sales activities across the hotel benefit from this role too, with sales opportunities maximized wherever they appear. Every reservation and request gets confirmed within 24 hours, keeping the department responsive and reliable for clients and group leaders alike.
