Job description
The Supervisor â Events role at Amaala Yacht Club within the Sports and Entertainment Company is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-profile events and experiential activations aligned with the clubâs luxury positioning. The role covers the full event lifecycle from concept development, budgeting, and logistics planning through on-site execution and post-event reporting. Events include member events, regattas, VIP functions, brand activations, and lifestyle experiences designed to enhance member engagement and reinforce the clubâs prestige. The position requires close coordination with internal departments, including Member Relations, Marketing, PR, marina operations, yacht racing teams, and BOH Operations, as well as external vendors and partners handling food and beverage, entertainment, dĂ©cor, branding, permits, and security. The role ensures compliance with safety, risk management, and operational procedures, supports RSVP systems and VIP hosting protocols, tracks event KPIs, prepares evaluation reports, and collaborates on promotional and media engagement activities while maintaining exceptional service standards, aesthetic excellence, and operational precision.

Key responsibilities
- Plan and manage the full lifecycle of events from concept development, budgeting, and logistics through execution and post-event reporting with input from relevant internal departments
- Curate and manage a seasonal calendar of luxury member events and experiential activations that enhance engagement and club prestige
- Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and third-party vendors to deliver event components including food and beverage, entertainment, décor, branding, permits, and security
- Ensure all events align with Amaala Yacht Clubâs luxury positioning, values, and brand tone
- Develop detailed event briefs, run-of-shows, and contingency plans for all events and activations
- Support Member Relations teams with guest lists, RSVP systems, and VIP hosting protocols
- Ensure compliance with safety, risk management, and operational procedures during all events
- Collaborate with Marketing and PR teams on promotional activities and media engagement related to events
- Track event KPIs and prepare detailed post-event evaluation and performance reports
- Support the BOH Operations Manager in delivering regattas and sailing-related events in coordination with marina and yacht racing teams
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelorâs degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
- Possess 4â6 years of experience in event planning or luxury hospitality activations
- Demonstrate experience managing premium, high-touch events and VIP protocols
- Demonstrate fluency in English, with Arabic language proficiency preferred
