Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and strategic Director - Motorsport Business Development & Partnerships to lead its motorsport growth agenda. The position is central to transforming Qiddiya into a global motorsport and automotive entertainment destination. The successful candidate will oversee partnership strategies, secure intellectual property agreements, and develop commercial opportunities by working with key industry stakeholders including sponsors, government entities, and motorsport teams.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the Motorsports partnership and IP strategy, including partnership development, business and product development, and events
- Work closely with the Commercial Division on sales, marketing, sponsorship generation, and activation
- Secure IP partners for Motorsport Park key assets and manage ongoing contractual activations
- Oversee IP consultants regarding deliverables and scope
- Identify, select, and engage with partners including contract negotiations and activation
- Develop high-level sales presentations and materials for partnership pitches
- Coordinate efforts with the Motorsports Strategy Director and other Qiddiya department heads
- Assist in developing the Automotive & Motorsports budget in line with organizational needs
- Provide leadership and commercial focus across the team
Experience & skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field
- 12ā15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic marketing
- Experience within the motorsport or automotive industries
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking capabilities and innovative problem-solving aptitude
