Job description
Our Equity Capital Markets team deals with a broad range of international equity capital markets work, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, GDR facilities and continuing obligations. The team's clients are primarily investment banks, financial advisors, banks and corporates, and transactions range from FTSE Main Market mandates to the privatisation programmes of Developing Market economies where a joined-up approach with our global network of offices is key. Our team is looking for an Associate with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience to support international equity capital markets transactions in the Middle East. Ideally the candidate will have significant experience within the capital markets team of an international or other major law firm, working for issuers and underwriters in connection with equity offerings in any of the GCC States. You will maintain client relationships, contribute to business development and thought leadership, raising your own profile and supporting the continued growth of the capital markets practice. The role would be ideal for a 3-to-5-year PQE lawyer.

Experience & skills
- Strong academic record
- Qualified Lawyer
- Experience with DFM, Nasdaq Dubai, ADX, Tadawul equity offerings
- Experience of a range of different transaction structures, including IPOs, follow-on offerings and equity capital markets aspects of M&A transactions
- Experience working with international clients in the corporate sector
- Experience preparing and participating in client pitches
