Job description
The Data Analyst - Consumer Analytics will work in Chalhoub Group’s central analytics team, supporting multiple brands by delivering insights, reports, and analytics to optimize business strategies. The role involves dashboarding, customer insights, data quality management, metric implementation, and close collaboration with brand stakeholders across marketing, CRM, e-commerce, and product teams.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance standard and brand-specific custom dashboards.
- Support the delivery of self-serve analytics to brand teams.
- Deliver ad-hoc and periodic customer insights (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
- Analyze customer demographics, product affinities, omnichannel behaviors, and prospect profiles.
- Provide insights to support campaigns, product launches, and key calendar events.
- Perform data ingestion verification and gap analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues in collaboration with IT and data teams.
- Assist in implementing business-specific logic, attributes, and metrics in Looker and Salesforce.
- Support custom segmentation, brand-specific attributes, and categorization models.
- Participate in monthly review and planning meetings with brands and the omnichannel team.
- Work closely with marketing, CRM, e-commerce, and product teams to align analytics with business objectives.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in analytics, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating datasets.
- Experience with Looker for dashboard creation and data exploration.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for quick data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a centralized analytics team serving multiple brands (preferred).
- Knowledge of omnichannel retail KPIs and customer lifecycle metrics (preferred).
- Exposure to segmentation and personalization strategies in retail marketing (preferred).
