Job description
Fraud, corruption and financial crime leave traces in data, and this Doha position at EY Forensic & Integrity Services uses analytics to find them for clients across MENA. As part of the senior management team, you lead corruption, fraud and forensic investigations, including multi-jurisdictional matters, using analytics to speed up evidence identification and quantify losses. Company accounts and large transactional datasets are analysed for red flags, misstatement and irregularities. Clients also look to you for data-driven monitoring within fraud and anti-bribery frameworks, and for advice on internal controls, data integrity and governance. Forensic reports need to stand up in litigation and regulatory settings, with evidence review, chain of custody and analytics documentation done properly. Cyber-enabled fraud brings in log, transaction and endpoint analysis, worked through with cyber and DFIR specialists. Growing the business is central too, through large corporate relationships, a strong analytics pipeline, proposals and thought leadership. SQL, Python or R, tools such as Alteryx, Power BI or Tableau, and knowledge of SAP and Oracle data structures will help, as will Arabic. A degree, a relevant professional qualification and the ability to travel regionally at short notice are required.
