Job description
The Senior Manager – Products role at Omantel is the primary custodian of the Business Unit’s Mobile (Mobility) and Fixed (Connectivity) product portfolios within the ICT & Digital Solutions division. The role is accountable for translating corporate strategy into high-performing product roadmaps that drive profitable market leadership. It owns the end-to-end commercial success of telecom and ICT products, balancing aggressive revenue growth with cost efficiency while managing full product lifecycle activities from concept to commercial launch. The position leads cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Technology, ICT, Security, and Business Excellence to deliver innovative mobile and fixed connectivity solutions for enterprise customers. Core responsibilities include strategic pricing, lifecycle management, market and competitive analysis, partnership development, SLA definition, KPI setting, and performance reporting to senior management, ensuring Omantel remains the preferred digital partner for enterprise connectivity and ICT solutions.

Key responsibilities
- Own revenue and cost targets for Mobile (Mobility) and Fixed (Connectivity) product portfolios to ensure profitability and sustainable growth
- Develop and execute strategic product roadmaps aligned with Omantel’s business and corporate strategy
- Design pricing models, promotional campaigns, and manage end-to-end product lifecycle from inception to commercial launch
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify telecom and ICT trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Technology, ICT, Security, and Business Excellence to align products with customer needs
- Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and market opportunities for mobile and fixed connectivity products
- Provide regular updates to senior management on product performance, market dynamics, and strategic progress
- Develop and manage Service Level Agreements to ensure service quality and delivery timelines
- Set SMART KPIs, evaluate team performance, and provide coaching to improve execution
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with partners to enhance product offerings and align with business objectives
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Business, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in telecom product management
- At least 3 years of leadership or managerial experience
- Hands-on experience managing both mobile and fixed connectivity product portfolios
- Strong background in commercial product ownership including pricing, revenue, and cost management
- Experience delivering ICT and enterprise connectivity solutions
