Tawantech builds digital banking and financial services solutions in Riyadh, and this role sits inside that work as the React Native developer responsible for the mobile side of it. You'll design, develop, enhance and maintain high-performance cross-platform mobile applications built in React Native and TypeScript, covering everything from account information and customer onboarding to fund transfers, payments, beneficiary management and card services. Security runs through every layer of the job, applying OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, MFA and biometric authentication to protect sensitive financial data in transit and at rest. REST APIs and JSON-based services get consumed and integrated constantly, with authentication, error handling, timeouts and retries all handled along the way. Performance work covers rendering, state management, API calls, animations and large data sets, resolving crashes, ANRs and memory leaks as they surface. Native Android and iOS work sits close by too, using Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode and CocoaPods, with enough Kotlin, Java, Swift or Objective-C to troubleshoot native functionality when needed. Testing runs through Jest, React Native Testing Library and Detox, backed by peer review and continuous integration to keep code quality high. CI/CD pipelines carry builds through to Google Play Console and the Apple App Store, using tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Fastlane along the way. Production incidents get investigated and resolved directly, working alongside infrastructure, backend, security and DevOps teams whenever something breaks.
