The Operational Excellence Specialist role within Aramco’s Engineering Services Operational Excellence Center of Excellence (OECOE) focuses on supporting the implementation and sustained performance of the Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) across the organization. The role is responsible for conducting advanced data analytics to generate insights that support OEMS deployment, identify operational gaps, and drive sustained excellence in alignment with Saudi Aramco standards, policies, objectives, and regulatory requirements. The position contributes to enterprise-wide operational performance improvement through structured assessment methodologies, including internal OE assessments, corporate due diligence reviews, PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Adjust) gap analysis, and risk-based performance improvement planning. The specialist develops OE action plans, monitors implementation progress, identifies risks hindering OE deployment, and supports mitigation strategies to enhance organizational performance. The role involves preparing high-quality assessment reports, management presentations, OE manuals, procedures, benchmarks, and best practice documentation. It also includes participation in hazard identification and control activities, continuous improvement initiatives, and process optimization workshops. The position supports operational excellence training delivery, knowledge sharing, and capability building across engineering services. Strong analytical capability using tools such as Power BI and Minitab is used to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making. The role requires close engagement with cross-functional OE teams to ensure compliance with operational excellence frameworks, enhance performance outcomes, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization in a large-scale oil, gas, and petrochemical operating environment.
