Job description
Cigna Healthcare is seeking a Telemarketing Supervisor in Dubai to lead a team of approximately 10 senior telemarketing associates. The role is responsible for managing both outbound and inbound telemarketing operations to ensure annual sales targets are met within the health insurance sector. The supervisor will oversee performance metrics, coach and motivate the sales team, monitor productivity and compliance, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards across the Middle East. This position requires full flexibility to work shifts covering 24 hours, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will create and analyze performance reports, handle customer complaints, participate in product meetings, recruit and train new telemarketers, and maintain accurate records. They will act as a bridge between internal teams, management, and clients to drive revenue growth, uphold customer service standards, and foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities
- Manage telemarketing sales team to achieve pre-defined annual sales targets
- Coach and mentor telemarketers on performance, compliance, and sales best practices
- Motivate and develop team members to drive engagement and productivity
- Analyze reports and performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Create management reports to monitor key business metrics and KPIs
- Conduct monthly one-to-one, midterm, and annual staff performance reviews
- Recruit, train, and onboard new telemarketing staff according to business demands
- Monitor sales calls to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to sales protocols
- Handle customer complaints and ensure resolution aligned with company standards
- Collaborate with internal teams, including client management and medical teams, to resolve issues
- Participate in product meetings to stay informed on offerings and updates
- Ensure compliance with regional and regulatory sales standards across the Middle East
- Maintain accurate and complete records of sales activities, reports, and communications
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to management
- Support team members in achieving collective goals and meeting productivity and quality benchmarks
Experience & skills
- Proven experience managing a telemarketing sales team in a high-volume environment
- Experience in insurance sales, preferably health or life insurance
- Strong understanding of telemarketing performance metrics and KPI management
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills with ability to motivate others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including spreadsheets and word processing
- Regulatory awareness within the Middle East insurance or sales sector
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Customer-focused and action-oriented approach to achieving targets and resolving issues
- Ability to work flexible shifts across 24-hour operations, Monday to Friday
