Job description
The FINPRO Broker at Marsh McLennan will be responsible for the advisory and placement of clientsâ risks within the (re)insurance marketplace, focusing on Financial and Professional Lines. Based in Dubai and working in a regional role across MENA, the broker will collaborate with global FINPRO teams and regional retail networks to deliver tailored insurance solutions and retain and grow the FINPRO portfolio. The role requires strong technical and product knowledge, especially in D&O, PI, Crime, and Specie lines, along with excellent negotiation, client servicing, and placement strategy execution capabilities. This role is hybrid, with at least three days in-office per week.

Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic input in the sales and planning process.
- Collect risk information and underlying coverage requirements.
- Present terms and comparative analysis to client-facing colleagues and clients.
- Execute placement strategy and place risks with shortlisted reinsurers per client instructions.
- Provide final closing documentation for placed policies.
- Identify and drive sales opportunities to grow the FINPRO portfolio regionally and globally.
- Focus on reinsurance/facultative opportunities from UAE, KSA, GCC, MENA and beyond.
- Identify the need for new products and develop innovative client solutions.
- Lead coordination of organizational resources to drive sales completion.
- Consult with internal teams on complex client issues or claims and communicate clear solutions.
- Support cross-sell opportunities and client relationship building across Marshâs global network.
Experience & skills
- Relevant college/university degree preferable but not essential.
- 5+ years of experience in insurance/reinsurance, preferably in broking.
- Good technical knowledge in reinsurance of Financial and Professional Lines products.
- Ability to read and analyse financial statements.
- Growth mindset with a focus on sales.
- Strong work ethics and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English (verbal and written).
- No travel restrictions across the region and globally.
- Client management experience.
- Previous work/experience with FINPRO products.
- Experience providing insurance or risk solutions to commercial institutions.
- Exposure to UAE/DIFC Financial Lines market.
- Access to global markets.
- Experience in a multinational company.
