Job description
Cardiometabolic disease treatment across Saudi Arabia sits at the heart of this Regional Medical Advisor position, based in Riyadh and reporting to the Sr Manager, Metabolic Field Team. You provide medical and scientific support, education, and training across business functions to external customers, healthcare professionals, and key stakeholders. Scientific and medical knowledge across the entire cardiometabolic portfolio gets built and updated continually, with time set aside to track new developments and competitor products. Peer-to-peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and emerging experts form a core part of the work, supported by KOL engagement plans tied to medical priorities. Symposia, meetings, and education seminars for healthcare providers get facilitated regularly, and presentations at local meetings and external conferences follow from that work. Academic and professional collaboration opportunities get identified in support of current and future business needs, including project proposals for local funding. Medico-marketing strategy and local business plans also draw on this role's input, keeping cross-functional activity aligned with country-specific regulatory requirements. Compliance runs throughout, covering Novo Nordisk Business Ethics, local regulations, Medical Governance frameworks, and safety reporting under NN SOPs. Unsolicited medical information requests from HCPs get handled as part of routine work.
