Job description
Join ADCBâs Group Compliance & Governance division as a Manager - Compliance Assurance, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing governance practices and ensuring regulatory compliance. In this role, youâll manage the end-to-end preparation of committee and board packs, design high-quality presentations for senior stakeholders, and support effective agenda setting and governance reporting. With a focus on translating complex compliance data into actionable insights, youâll engage with stakeholders across the bank to uphold internal standards, manage sensitive information, and contribute to the broader risk and assurance framework. Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end preparation of committee and board packs, ensuring timely compilation, review, and submission in line with governance requirements.
- Lead the design and development of professional, visually engaging PowerPoint presentations and written materials for senior management and board-level audiences.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts across the Bank to gather, validate, and synthesize content for reporting and presentation purposes.
- Ensure all materials meet internal governance, branding, and quality standards, maintaining consistency and accuracy across all submissions.
- Maintain document control and versioning protocols to ensure traceability and integrity of all committee and board documentation.
- Translate complex and technical content into clear, concise messaging suitable for executive audiences, ensuring key risks and insights are effectively communicated.
- Track pack submissions, manage internal deadlines, and coordinate with contributors to ensure timely delivery of inputs and approvals.
- Support agenda setting, committee calendar management, and accurate recording of minutes of meetings to ensure effective governance and follow-up.
- Monitor and report on key risk indicators and compliance metrics, contributing to the Bankâs overall risk and assurance framework.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, ensuring secure management and restricted access as appropriate.
- Manage self and team in line with ADCBâs people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.
Experience & skills
- At least 7 years of experience in the Banking or Financial services industry.
- Bachelorâs Degree in relevant specialization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of CBUAE, Securities and Commodities Authority Regulations, Banking Rules and Regulations.
- Knowledge of corporate governance and risk reporting.
- Excellent communication and time management.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Committee / board reporting experience preferred.
- Experience in compliance advisory, compliance assurance (monitoring & testing), operational risk controls.
