The Senior Manager - Asset Management (Asset Lifecycle Transformation & Advisory) at Serco’s +impact advisory practice is responsible for leading strategic consulting engagements focused on asset lifecycle management and operational transformation for asset-intensive organizations across the Middle East. Based in Jeddah/Makkah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the role operates within Serco’s advisory services division which specializes in operational transformation and advisory solutions for government entities, critical national infrastructure organizations, and regulated industries. The position leads high-impact advisory engagements that integrate financial, operational, and technical aspects of asset lifecycle management to improve asset performance, optimize lifecycle costs, and ensure alignment with regulatory and strategic objectives. The Senior Manager drives the development and implementation of enterprise asset management frameworks and advisory solutions including governance structures, asset management policies, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational performance frameworks. The role involves leading large-scale asset lifecycle transformation programs and advising C-level stakeholders on strategic asset management planning and operational improvement initiatives. The position includes designing asset investment planning models incorporating capital expenditure (CapEx), operational expenditure (OpEx), and total expenditure (TotEx) strategies while supporting lifecycle cost optimization and asset rationalization programs. Responsibilities also include performing maturity assessments and benchmarking exercises using international asset management standards such as ISO 55001 and EXPRO AFM frameworks. The Senior Manager contributes to the implementation of digital asset management solutions including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) while ensuring integration with broader enterprise systems and operational workflows. The role requires expertise in asset performance analytics, asset criticality assessments, failure mode analysis, and lifecycle financial modeling used to enhance operational decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Manager leads cross-functional consulting teams performing business process reviews across the asset lifecycle including planning, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning. The role also involves supporting Serco’s business development initiatives, building client relationships, contributing to proposal development, and providing thought leadership on emerging asset management technologies and practices within the consulting market.

Key responsibilities
- Lead large-scale asset lifecycle transformation programs for asset-intensive organizations by designing and executing asset management strategies that align with client business objectives, regulatory frameworks, and operational performance targets.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders including C-level executives by translating complex operational and infrastructure challenges into structured asset management strategies and transformation initiatives.
- Design and implement enterprise-wide asset management frameworks including governance structures, asset management policies, performance measurement systems, and key performance indicators (KPIs) that support sustainable asset lifecycle management.
- Develop and oversee asset investment planning models incorporating capital expenditure (CapEx), operational expenditure (OpEx), and total expenditure (TotEx) frameworks while supporting lifecycle cost optimization and asset rationalization strategies.
- Conduct asset management maturity assessments and benchmarking analyses using international standards such as ISO 55001 and EXPRO AFM frameworks to evaluate organizational capability and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead the implementation of digital asset management technologies including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) while ensuring integration with enterprise systems and digital transformation initiatives.
- Direct cross-functional consulting teams performing business process reviews across the entire asset lifecycle including asset planning, acquisition, operations, maintenance, and asset decommissioning activities.
- Support business development and client relationship initiatives by collaborating with +impact leadership on proposal development, client engagement strategies, and thought leadership contributions related to asset management transformation.
Experience & skills
- Possess a minimum of ten years of professional experience in asset management consulting or advisory roles with at least three years in a leadership or senior management position delivering asset management transformation programs.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Business Administration, or a related academic discipline relevant to infrastructure and asset lifecycle management.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in asset lifecycle frameworks including ISO 55001 asset management standards and EXPRO AFM methodologies used to guide enterprise asset management transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrate experience designing and implementing asset investment planning models including capital expenditure (CapEx), operational expenditure (OpEx), and total expenditure (TotEx) frameworks for asset-intensive organizations.
- Demonstrate expertise in asset performance analytics, asset criticality assessments, failure mode analysis, and lifecycle financial modeling used to improve asset reliability and optimize operational costs.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience implementing digital asset management technologies including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platforms, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and Asset Investment Planning (AIP) solutions.
- Hold or be eligible for professional certifications related to asset management such as IAM Diploma, ISO 55001 Lead Auditor, Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA), or Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP).
- Demonstrate fluency in English and Arabic and possess prior experience delivering asset management consulting engagements within the Middle East region, particularly within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
