Job description
Ain Khaled is the founding campus of Doha British Schools, and it's also the only one offering AS/A Levels, the IB Diploma and BTEC programmes side by side for English teaching. You teach English across IGCSE and AS/A Level, with IB experience considered a plus given the campus's broader Sixth Form offering. Lessons follow the National Curriculum of England, adapted to reflect Qatar's culture, heritage and values across Early Years through to Sixth Form. Pastoral care runs alongside subject teaching here, with character development woven into daily school life rather than treated separately. Extracurricular activities form part of the expectation too, contributing to the wider school community beyond the English classroom. You bring a recognised educational degree and a certified teaching qualification such as a PGCE or QTS, supported where required by an Early Career Teaching Certificate and a subject-relevant bachelor's degree. A track record of strong teaching and learning outcomes matters here, built on extensive experience with the National Curriculum of England. Accreditation from BSO, BSME, QNSA and CIS frames the standards this campus works to, alongside its focus on academic rigour, leadership and global citizenship.
