ABB's Electrification Services (ELSE) business across the UAE and Oman forms the operation you would take charge of in this role, reporting to the ELSE Cluster Manager for Middle East and Africa. Full P&L accountability sits with this position, covering profitable growth, performance targets and regular achievement reviews against global metrics. Local execution of global Product Group strategy runs alongside input into regional strategy, so the job moves in both directions at once. Service delivery standards, quality metrics and improvement initiatives fall under your oversight, along with the development of new service offerings. You'll build and maintain relationships with key customers, evaluate market opportunities and keep the business competitive against customer satisfaction targets. A multi-level organization of direct and indirect reports needs structuring, staffing and skill development, with the aim of building high-performing teams accountable for results. HSE compliance and sustainability standards run through daily operations rather than sitting apart from them. Key projects get tracked against schedule, quality, financial targets and customer satisfaction outcomes. The role calls for a strategic thinker who can also stay hands-on with day to day operational excellence.
