Job description
Reporting to the Finance Manager within the Division of Air Services, Department of Flight Operations at Red Sea Air Services Company, the Finance Specialist supports the financial health and operational efficiency of the aviation company by managing financial planning, budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting. The role prepares and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports; processes invoices and expense claims; maintains account ledgers, accurate general ledger entries, and assists in monthly closing; performs vendor and bank reconciliations and reconciles key accounts; tracks and analyzes aviation-specific costs such as fuel, maintenance, aircraft leasing, crew expenses, and insurance; coordinates with procurement and operations departments to control and report on expenditures; supports external audits and liaises with regulatory authorities and banks as required; and contributes to the enhancement of financial processes and internal controls. The position requires a Bachelorās degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (mandatory), professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA (preferred), 3ā5 years of experience in finance or accounting with prior accounts payable and general ledger exposure, strong knowledge in SAP ERP (mandatory), knowledge of IFRS and financial compliance standards, proficiency in MS Excel, high attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational and time management skills, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.

- Track and analyze aviation-specific costs including fuel, maintenance, aircraft leasing, crew expenses, and insurance

- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile key accounts

Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Mandatory)

- Minimum of 3ā5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Prior experience as Accounts Payable Accountant and in general ledger accounting
- Strong knowledge in SAP ERP (Mandatory)
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial compliance standards
- Proficient in MS Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
