Job description
GEMS Founders School Nad Al Hamar opened its doors in August 2026, and this Music and Humanities Teacher role joins the founding team from January 2027. The National Curriculum for England shapes the academic programme here, initially covering FS1 to Year 8 before expanding year on year toward a full FS1 to Year 13 school. You'll teach Music with openness to Humanities too, bringing subject expertise and creativity into how lessons get delivered. Founding team members shape culture and curriculum from the ground up, establishing foundations that later cohorts of students and staff will build on. STEAM labs, Art and Music rooms and outdoor spaces sit inside the purpose built Primary campus, alongside theme days, educational visits and leadership activities beyond the core curriculum. Arabic, Islamic Studies and UAE Social Studies form part of the Primary experience too, helping children build an understanding of the culture around them. Both newly qualified and experienced teachers are welcome to apply, with strong knowledge of teaching, assessment and differentiation strategies expected of everyone joining. You're expected to hold a Bachelor's degree in Music, Humanities or a relevant subject, along with a recognised PGCE and QTS. GEMS Education backs the role with CPD programmes, mentorship for early career teachers and clear pathways for progression across its wider network of schools.
