Job description
The Relationship Manager – Priority Banking role at Emirates NBD is responsible for acquiring, managing, and expanding Priority Banking client relationships within the UAE. The role involves meeting revenue targets across Assets, Liabilities, Investments, and Insurance while delivering exceptional service standards and maximizing customer satisfaction. The Relationship Manager acts as the primary point of contact for Priority Banking clients, providing advisory support, managing accounts, and collaborating with Product Specialists to deepen relationships and increase share of wallet. The role requires strict adherence to UAE Central Bank regulations, Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, anti-money laundering protocols, and anti-mis-selling policies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate client profiles, assessing risk tolerance, documenting client meetings, monitoring client satisfaction, reporting suspicious transactions, and staying informed on market trends. The position operates within Emirates NBD’s Priority Banking segment, supporting both client acquisition and portfolio growth while maintaining confidentiality, compliance, and high-quality relationship management standards.

Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Priority Banking customers by managing client acquisition, relationship management, and collaboration with Product Specialists
- Demonstrate expertise in Priority Banking products and services while acting as a trusted advisor and cross-selling banking, investment, and insurance solutions
- Meet and exceed revenue targets across Assets, Liabilities, Investments, and Insurance portfolios
- Adhere to operational, sales, compliance, and anti-mis-selling policies, including maintaining KYC documentation and accurate client profiles
- Assess client risk tolerance, maintain confidentiality, document client meetings, and promptly report suspicious transactions
- Monitor and enhance client satisfaction while staying updated on market trends and contributing as an effective team member
- Pursue self-development by identifying training needs and communicating them to the Unit Manager
Experience & skills
- Hold a university degree in Business or Finance
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales role within the banking or financial services industry
- Demonstrate experience across retail banking and wealth management domains
- Exhibit knowledge of Priority Banking products, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
