Job description
Oliver Wyman is seeking a Bond / Treasury Specialist to join its Middle East team, based in Riyadh. This role involves managing bond applications for MENA entities, maintaining trackers, ensuring robust compliance and control procedures, and acting as the main liaison between MMC Treasury and business units. The position requires close collaboration with Dubai-based teams and external banks, handling liquidity issues, and supporting banking relationships. Strong knowledge of treasury systems, KYC/AML protocols, and experience in a regulated environment is essential. The specialist will report to the UAE Controller and work onsite 4 days a week.

Key responsibilities
- Manage and complete bid and performance bond application for MMC MENA entities.
- Maintain Bond tracker for Business, Finance and Controllers.
- Work closely with Dubai team on Bond status and applications.
- Serve as the main liaison between MMC Treasury & Business on Bond application process.
- Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving actual and anticipated liquidity shortfalls.
- Drive and improve banking relationships in support of MENA bond process.
- Support robust controls related to Bond matters across the Group.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Treasury Management, LCPA, FP&A, Group Finance Control, and other departments.
- Act as an agent for change, efficiency, and improvement in the Bond process.
Experience & skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role in a centralized corporate or banking treasury function.
- Arabic is essential.
- Experience working with colleagues across MENA.
- Strong knowledge of KYC and AML protocols to follow with Bonds.
- Experience in a regulated environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and team.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across finance and with the business.
- Excellent data skills using Power BI and Excel.
- Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft and ERP systems.
- Previous exposure to banking platforms such as HSBC and Citibank.
- Required to be in office 4/5 days and sit with KSA Controller.
- Ultimate reporting into UAE Controller in Dubai who will require frequent updates on bond status and escalation point.
- Relationship management with external banks such as HSBC and Deutsche.
- Confident Controller who can manage demanding stakeholders that will often demand an immediate response.
