Job description
The Risk and Compliance Analyst role in Qatar supports the implementation of Qatar Foundation’s corporate Risk, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Compliance programs. The position involves assisting QF entities in establishing and maintaining Risk Registers, providing support to Risk Champions in addressing issues related to Risk Registers and the Risk Management Information System, and contributing to the development of regular reporting requirements for Senior Management and the Audit Committee. Responsibilities include preparing presentations and materials, supporting ad-hoc risk management activities, assisting in the development of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) through Business Impact Analysis (BIA) sessions, and identifying continuity strategies and interim measures in coordination with QF entities. The role includes providing guidance to QF HQ entities on reviewing and updating their BIAs and BCPs, reviewing and proposing enhancements to BCM documentation, delivering presentations and activities to enhance BCM awareness, supporting the development and rollout of the Compliance program, and completing tasks assigned by the Heads of Risk, Business Continuity and Compliance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, 2–5 years of relevant full-time experience, strong analytical skills for developing risk registers, action plans and metrics, strong time management and organizational abilities, teamwork, excellent English communication and writing skills, required Arabic proficiency, and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Key responsibilities
- Provide support to Qatar Foundation entities to establish and maintain Risk Registers
- Support Risk Champions in addressing concerns related to Risk Registers or the Risk Management Information System
- Support the development of the Risk Department’s regular reporting requirements for Senior Management and the Audit Committee
- Contribute to the development of presentations and other materials and support ad-hoc risk management activities
- Support the development of Business Continuity Plans through Business Impact Analysis sessions and identification of continuity strategies and interim measures
- Provide support and guidance to QF HQ entities and directorates in reviewing and updating their BIAs and BCPs
- Review and propose enhancements to BCM-related documentation
- Deliver presentations and carry out activities to enhance BCM awareness
- Support the development and rollout of the Compliance program
- Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by the Heads of Risk, Business Continuity and Compliance
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline
- Possess 2–5 years of relevant full-time work experience
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to guide the development of risk registers, action plans and related metrics
- Show very good time management, organization and practical approach to work
- Exhibit teamwork and cooperation
- Demonstrate excellent English communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to draft and edit written reports clearly
- Possess required Arabic proficiency
- Be proficient in MS Office applications
