Job description
The role sits within Accenture’s Legal and Commercial Services, providing commercial and contractual expertise throughout the entire contract lifecycle to maximize value, manage risks, and ensure compliance with obligations and policies. Responsibilities include supporting sales growth by expanding agreements and enabling new business, protecting revenue by delivering on contractual commitments, improving margins through effective risk and issue management, and ensuring compliance with Accenture’s contractual and internal requirements. The position requires leading contract management teams across large projects and accounts, working with account leadership and client stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, strategies, and opportunities. It involves developing contract management staff, supporting performance management, and taking accountability for identifying, escalating, and resolving commercial and contract risks. The role includes pre-award sales engagement, assisting with deal shaping, negotiating commercial and contractual outcomes, and supporting drafting. Contract Managers are client-facing and central to building trusted relationships. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), extensive experience conducting and supervising investigations including compliance, employment, and governmental matters, drafting confidential reports, advising leadership, and possessing in-depth knowledge of local ethical, conduct, and compliance risks, employee rights and obligations, and related laws. Additional requirements include extensive employee relations and workplace investigation experience, a minimum of seven years as a contract specialist handling complex deals with team-management exposure, strong communication and collaboration skills with executives, and deep understanding of commercial contracting regulations, subcontracting practices, and contracting terms and conditions.

- Lead contract management teams across large projects and accounts and work with account leadership and client stakeholders to understand client needs, priorities, and account objectives
- Develop contract management staff across multiple projects and support performance management activities
- Take accountability for identifying, escalating, and resolving commercial and contract risks and issues to achieve optimal outcomes for all parties
- Engage in pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, and negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes including contract drafting support
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a key client-facing representative
- Apply commercial and contractual expertise to support sales growth, protect revenue, improve margins, and ensure compliance with obligations and policies
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
- Demonstrate experience conducting and supervising investigations including compliance, employment, and governmental investigations
- Possess ability to draft confidential reports and advise senior leadership on investigation-related risks
- Show in-depth knowledge of local ethical, conduct, and compliance risks, employee rights and obligations, and relevant laws
- Have extensive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations
- Bring a minimum of 7 years’ experience as a contract specialist with exposure to complex deals and proven team-management experience
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with client executives at all levels and influence key commercial and contracting decisions
