Job description
GMGâs Everyday Goods division is hiring a Production Supervisor for its Meat Processing Unit in Dubai. The role is responsible for managing production activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and cost-efficiency standards, and leading shift employees. The Supervisor coordinates daily operations, supports the Production Manager in planning, manages cross-functional collaboration with quality and maintenance teams, and ensures HACCP and regulatory compliance. A strong leader with knowledge in meat and seafood processing is essential to ensure timely production and high employee morale.

Key responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in planning and organizing shift employees to meet daily production targets.
- Monitor adherence to work instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Supervise production activities for different meat and seafood processing lines.
- Boost employee morale and handle shift worker queries related to health, leave, and accommodation.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Monitor attendance and manage weekly employee time sheets.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and regulatory standards during audits and inspections.
- Maintain high service levels by producing quality products within set timeframes.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to investigate customer complaints and ensure corrective actions.
- Work with the Maintenance Team to schedule preventive maintenance and operator training.
- Support employee development through training, mentoring, and skill development.
Experience & skills
- Relevant experience in food processing, especially meat and seafood.
- Strong understanding of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
- Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage shift operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage employee relations.
- Competence in handling production reporting, time management, and operational compliance.
