Job description
The British International School Riyadh follows the English National Curriculum across a co-educational, not-for-profit setting that has served the expatriate community in Riyadh since 1979. Al Hamra Campus is recruiting a part time Senior School English Teacher to work with students aged 11 to 18 in the Secondary phase. You'll deliver outstanding classroom practice while contributing to the school's strategic pillars of learning, enrichment and well-being. Assessment and feedback strategies matter here, since tracking student progress sits alongside day to day teaching. Form Tutor duties come with the post, making you the first point of contact for students' social, emotional and academic well-being within the pastoral care system. Collaboration runs across the wider school community, from co-curricular programmes and community events to broader pastoral structures. You're expected to hold a UK or UK recognised teaching qualification and valid KSA residency status before joining. BISR is accredited by the Council of International Schools and recognised as a British School Overseas, with membership of BSME, AoBSO, HMC and COBIS. Comprehensive background checks apply to all staff, in line with the school's safeguarding commitments.
