Job description
Managing Director – MEA Service Provider Sales role at Cisco in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for leading Cisco’s Service Provider business across the Middle East and Africa region. The role involves defining and executing strategic sales vision, driving revenue growth, expanding pipeline, and strengthening Cisco’s market position through cross-selling, upselling, and acquisition of new business opportunities. The Managing Director leads high-performing sales teams and sales leaders, ensuring operational excellence in forecasting, reporting, business planning, and execution of go-to-market strategies. The role requires orchestration of Cisco’s global ecosystem including internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated IT and telecom solutions across software, hardware, networking, and service provider portfolios. Responsibilities include representing Cisco at industry events and executive forums, building and sustaining strategic customer and partner relationships, and aligning Cisco’s “One Cisco” strategy with customer needs. The position focuses on driving top-line growth, pipeline expansion, team performance, and leadership development while fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture. The role leverages digital tools, AI, and automation to improve sales efficiency and business scalability. It requires strong executive presence, multilingual communication (English and Arabic), and deep experience in IT and telecom enterprise sales environments.

Experience & skills
- 15+ years experience in IT or telecom sales
- 7+ years experience in sales leadership and managing leaders
- Proven track record in service provider sales for enterprise clients
- Experience in selling hardware and software solutions
- Strong ability in business planning and sales forecasting
- Experience in operational excellence and large-scale sales execution
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Strong executive communication skills including C-level engagement
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Experience in change management and organizational transformation
- MBA or equivalent degree preferred
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to manage cross-functional and global teams
