Job description
The Associate Director - Logistics Centers at Red Sea Global within the Operations Division and Supply Chain and Logistics Department is responsible for designing, planning, coordinating and managing all Logistics Centre operations, including receiving, dispatch of orders, inventory control, general housekeeping and security, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures. The role leads the planning, design and development of TRSDC Logistics Facilities; leads the operational implementation of new facilities; ensures Logistic Facilities functions strictly follow company policies and procedures; develops and executes endorsed plans and programs to achieve organisational and departmental goals and objectives; leads the setting of Scope of Work (SOW), Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes for logistics outsourcing; monitors and manages logistics service providers to ensure all contractual and operational requirements are met or exceeded; develops continuous improvement plans, programs and activities to boost efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations; monitors and maintains inventory levels, KPIs and key metrics, DC space and inventory movements; ensures that all transactions are strictly documented and updated in IT systems; ensures Quality and HSE standards are set, communicated and adhered to in all facilities; establishes performance measures and priorities for each facility and operation; conducts regular inspection visits to each facility to evaluate performance efficiency; continuously monitors the market environment to identify and implement opportunities to increase and develop the responsiveness and efficiency of facilities and operations; maintains proactive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; ensures ongoing training of staff to continuously develop incumbentsā technical and HSE skills; prepares periodic (daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc) reports covering facilities, operations, activities and inventory; conducts performance appraisals for subordinates; and performs other duties related to the job as assigned by TRSDC Management.

- Lead the planning, design and development of TRSDC Logistics Facilities to meet organisational requirements
- Lead the operational implementation and start-up of new logistics facilities to ensure readiness and compliance
- Ensure Logistics Facilities functions are strictly followed according to company policies and procedures across all sites
- Develop and execute endorsed plans and programs to achieve organisational and departmental goals and objectives
- Lead the setting of Scope of Work, SLAs and RFP processes for logistics outsourcing to define expectations and deliverables
- Monitor and manage logistics service providers to ensure all contractual and operational requirements are met and/or exceeded
- Develop and implement continuous improvement plans, programs and activities to boost efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, KPIs, key metrics, DC space utilisation and inventory movements to ensure operational control
- Ensure all transactions are strictly documented and updated in IT systems to maintain data integrity
- Set, communicate and enforce Quality and HSE standards across all facilities
- Establish performance measures and operational priorities for each facility and function
- Conduct regular inspection visits to each facility to evaluate operational efficiency and adherence to standards

- Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by TRSDC Management
Experience & skills
- Recognised degree in Supply Chain & Logistics (MBA preferred)
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Distribution Centre operations field
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to support logistics centre operations
- Proficiency with MS Office for analysis, reporting and operational control
- Demonstrated operations expertise in planning, implementing and managing logistics facilities
- Proven team leadership capability to set objectives, review performance and develop staff
- Ability to manage logistics outsourcing through SOW, SLA and RFP processes and oversee service providers
- Ability to set and enforce Quality and HSE standards, document transactions in IT systems and prepare periodic operational reports
