Job description
AWS Alliances Lead role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates within a leading global technology services organisation, focused on driving growth across the Middle East through strategic partnerships and enterprise transformation initiatives. This senior, client-facing position is responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategies across a portfolio of strategic partners, driving pipeline growth, accelerating revenue, and strengthening executive-level relationships across the region. The role involves working closely with sales teams, industry leaders, and global business units to shape value propositions delivering measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients. Responsibilities include engaging C-level stakeholders to shape digital transformation roadmaps, leading complex high-value sales pursuits, influencing key decision-makers, and developing differentiated value propositions aligned to market needs. The role also includes collaborating across internal teams and partner ecosystems, managing senior client and partner relationships, supporting business development initiatives including opportunity creation, proposals, and RFP responses, and establishing governance and reporting frameworks to ensure pipeline health and execution. The position requires strong experience in enterprise technology sales, cloud computing, AWS alliances, enterprise IT modernisation, and digital transformation programmes, along with commercial acumen, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles across the Middle East region.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute regional go-to-market strategies across strategic AWS and cloud partners to drive pipeline growth and revenue acceleration
- Engage C-level stakeholders and executive leadership to shape enterprise digital transformation and cloud transformation roadmaps
- Lead complex high-value enterprise technology sales pursuits and influence key decision-makers across client organisations
- Develop differentiated value propositions aligned with enterprise client needs and market opportunities
- Collaborate with internal sales teams, global business units, and partner ecosystems to deliver joint initiatives and solutions
- Build and manage senior relationships across clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to strengthen alliances
- Support business development activities including opportunity creation, proposal development, and RFP responses
- Establish governance frameworks and reporting structures to monitor pipeline health and partnership performance
Experience & skills
- Hold bachelor’s degree with MBA or equivalent preferred for enterprise leadership roles
- Demonstrate senior sales, business development, or alliance leadership experience within enterprise technology or cloud environments
- Demonstrate proven success delivering large-scale digital transformation or cloud transformation deals and meeting revenue targets
- Demonstrate strong experience engaging and influencing C-suite stakeholders and executive leadership
- Possess deep understanding of cloud computing, AWS partnerships, digital transformation, and emerging technologies
- Demonstrate experience working with strategic partners and managing complex partner ecosystems
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and ability to build data-driven business cases
- Demonstrate willingness to travel across the Middle East and ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
