AWS customers expect their data to be protected by strong physical security, and in Saudi Arabia that responsibility for a cluster of data center sites falls to this Cluster Security Manager. The position is open to Saudi Nationals only and involves around 25% domestic and international travel. Security strategy for multiple sites is developed and executed here, with compliance to procedures, standards and policies verified regularly. Programs cover Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security and Incident Management, and site investigations are coordinated with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team. Continuous risk analysis looks at crime, terrorism, workplace violence and natural and man-made disasters, with vulnerabilities addressed before they become gaps. AWS Data Center staff and contract security teams take direction from you, and security standards for contract site security coordinators are set here. Law enforcement agencies are key contacts, as are the data center business partners whose capacity plans must stay on track. Costs are driven down through process improvement and technology enhancement. Expect to bring 10+ years of physical security experience, including 5+ years in security management and 5+ in leadership roles, with fluent English and Arabic.
