Job description
The Senior Manager Airport Mobility Operations will oversee all transport services related to the arrival and departure of guests, employees, and stakeholders to and from airports served by the AMAALA project. This role focuses on ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient transportation during high-traffic periods, contributing to the seamless guest experience that AMAALA strives for. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring transport schedules, managing service providers and staff, maintaining fleet readiness, and ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires proactive improvement initiatives, guest experience management, and strong reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of transportation services between airport terminals and Triple Bay / AMAALA Staff Village.
- Monitor schedules for arrivals and departures, ensuring no gaps or delays in transport availability.
- Ensure the transport services meet the agreed standards for safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Address any non-performance issues or operational challenges and ensure corrective actions are implemented swiftly.
- Lead a team of transport coordinators, drivers, and support staff to ensure smooth operations during arrivals and departures.
- Manage team scheduling, performance reviews, and ensure staff are well-trained and equipped to deliver a high standard of service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all transport-related inquiries and complaints from internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly to feedback, resolving any issues to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Proactively review and analyze existing transport operations to identify opportunities for improved efficiency or cost-effectiveness.
- Implement new systems to enhance the guest experience and streamline operations.
- Ensure all transport services are in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Report and investigate any incidents or accidents involving transport services, taking necessary corrective actions and ensuring stakeholders are kept informed.
- Compile regular reports on transport performance, including ridership data, incident reports, and feedback analysis.
- Provide insights to senior management regarding trends, operational challenges, and recommendations for service enhancements.
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 12 years industry experience and proven expertise in the automotive or transportation industry.
- Experience of managing A&D Airport functions in a large and fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace, high volume, environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with a minimum of intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with independence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate based on needs of VIP chauffeur driver.
- Strong customer service orientation with high energy and passion for interaction with people.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time-management skills.
- Experience and maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information.
