Job description
Bank environments run on regulatory frameworks like the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework, NCA ECC, PDPL, and NDMO, and this Senior Network Administrator role exists to keep network infrastructure secure and compliant against every one of them. You will design, implement, and operate secure network infrastructure to support SOC monitoring, detection, and response requirements across bank environments. End-to-end connectivity for SOC platforms including SIEM, SOAR, NDR, EDR, and threat intelligence integrations needs ensuring at every layer. Enterprise network components get managed directly, covering LAN, WAN, Data Center, cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, VPNs, and secure remote access. Network security controls such as NGFW, IPS/IDS, WAF, DNS security, proxy, NAC, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust architecture get configured and maintained continuously. Log forwarding, NetFlow, packet capture (PCAP), and telemetry feeds get enabled and optimized to SOC tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel. Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes run in alignment with ITIL standards, with network-related security incidents resolved promptly. Cyber incident response happens alongside SOC teams, including containment actions, network isolation, and forensic data collection. High availability, redundancy, and resilience of network services stay in line with DR/BCP requirements, with regular failover testing conducted to verify it. Vendors and service providers get coordinated with for network solutions, troubleshooting, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation, while root cause analysis and preventive actions round out the technical work.
